The colourful Noddy Party car has arrived in Somerset West as part of a fun ticket giveaway. Here’s where we spotted it and how to enter.
While driving through Somerset West on Monday, 18 November 2024, we couldn’t help but notice a familiar sight.
Parked at the corner of Helderberg College Road and Old Stellenbosch Road was the iconic Noddy Party car. Its bright yellow and red colours certainly stood out, catching the attention of passing motorists and plenty of curious children.
It wasn’t just parked there for decoration, though.
A community scavenger hunt
The colourful little car is part of a Noddy Party ticket giveaway taking place ahead of the annual family show.
According to the organisers, families are invited to find the car, take a creative selfie or group photo with it, and share it on Facebook while tagging the Noddy Party page. One lucky winner will receive four complimentary tickets to the upcoming performance, with the winner scheduled to be announced on Monday, 25 November 2024.
It’s a simple idea, but one that’s sure to have children eagerly searching for the famous little car around Somerset West.
A quick reminder before you pose
If you’re planning to stop for a photo, the organisers have shared one important request. While the car is certainly tempting for excited youngsters, visitors are asked not to climb on the vehicle while taking their photos.
If you happen to be travelling along Helderberg College Road or Old Stellenbosch Road, keep an eye out—you might just spot the iconic Noddy Party car and stand a chance of winning tickets for the whole family.
