Cash Crusaders has officially opened a new store in Strand, giving Helderberg residents another location to buy and sell second-hand and new products.
Helderberg residents now have another place to shop for pre-owned bargains, electronics and household essentials following the opening of Cash Crusaders Strand.
The retailer officially opened its doors on 1 June 2026, just days after announcing that the new branch was “coming soon.” The store is located at the corner of Main Road and Daries Street, opposite Saayman Motors, making it easily accessible for residents travelling through Strand.
A Third Cash Crusaders for the Helderberg
The new Strand branch expands Cash Crusaders’ footprint in the Helderberg, joining the company’s two existing Somerset West stores.
Local shoppers can already visit Cash Crusaders Somerset Value Mart in Firgrove or the Cash Crusaders Somerset West branch on Main Road in Audas Estate. The Strand opening now gives residents on the coastal side of the Helderberg another convenient option, while Gordon’s Bay still does not have a Cash Crusaders store.
According to the company, the new Strand branch stocks the wide range of products the retailer is known for, including quality second-hand goods, brand-new products, electronics, gaming equipment, tools, appliances and jewellery.
Another Convenient Option for Strand Shoppers
As more national retailers continue expanding across the Helderberg, it’s encouraging to see Strand attracting new investment of its own. The addition of Cash Crusaders brings another familiar name to the town’s growing retail offering.
