Two afternoons, two rainbows and two beautiful drives through Somerset West made for a colourful end to the school day.
On our way to collect our son from school, we were treated to another beautiful rainbow stretching across the Somerset West sky. What made it even more special was that we’d seen one the day before too. Yesterday’s rainbow arched in from the right, while today’s appeared from the left, making it feel like nature had simply turned the picture around.
I don’t really believe in superstitions, but I do believe that some days just seem to go your way. Over the past two days, it wasn’t only the rainbows that stood out. We also crossed paths with kind people, enjoyed plenty of smiles and simply had two really good days.
Perhaps that’s why these colourful moments felt even more memorable. Sometimes, the best part of the school run isn’t the destination, but the unexpected surprises waiting in the sky above Somerset West.
